End-of-Year Challenge!

It is my pleasure to inform you that from California Family Council’s year-end fundraising activities we have received a gift of $75,000! This generous donor sent along a note, asking that we inform our friends of this gift, and challenge others to consider the critical work of CFC and the need for significant financial support at this time.

You’ve been reading our reports and our forecasts, and you know that in 2011 California Family Council will continue its worldview training seminars, provide consistent analysis of legislation, and increase grassroots lobbying activities through an affiliated political action organization.

We also believe that significant strategic effort and coalition work must target the political power of the public employee unions. Although it would be unwise to publicly reveal our plans now, I know you will be excited for what is being put into motion by an alignment of influential individuals and groups.

In addition, there will be more shenanigans in the Legislature. With more elected homosexual representatives than ever before, legislation promoting same-sex marriage will return, as will other bills attempting to normalize homosexuality and silence all who object. In fact, at least two “bullying” bills will be filed. Legislation that claims to be about bullying is often only a thinly veiled threat to freedom of conscience.

At California Family Council, December giving is a very important time in CFC’s year, when a significant percentage of our overall income comes from our friends. And based on the work necessary to impact this state for the common good, CFC needs your financial support now, more than ever before!

Please consider the challenge that is before California Family Council, and a generous donor’s challenge to you today. As you consider the many requests for support from charitable organizations at this time of year, please think of California Family Council.   

At CFC we do our level best to treat you respectfully in our communications regarding our financial needs. Over the next few weeks I will be reminding you of CFC’s critically important work, our projects for expanded communication, our coalition work targeting the power of self-interested entities, and our financial needs.
