Politically Correct “Research”
Did you know that a mandate to research “sexual deviation” has been in California law since 1967? A section of the Welfare and Institutions Code has been ignored for decades, but the law was initially approved in order to seek understanding and answers regarding “deviations conducive to sex crimes against children, and the causes and cures of homosexuality, and into methods of identifying potential sex offenders.”

Assemblywoman Bonnie Lowenthal (D-Long Beach) believes it is time to “blot out” this law and show that society is “moving forward.”
What is meant by moving forward is the intentional disregard for any research into homosexuality’s causes and cures.  People leave the homosexual lifestyle every day, but let’s not get caught up in the truth.  Therefore, she has introduced Assembly Bill 2199, which would “instead, require the department to plan, conduct, and cause to be conducted scientific research into the prevention of sex crimes against children and into methods of identifying those who commit sexual offenses.”
