There is a lot on the line in today’s primary election, and many of you may have been motivated to campaign for a candidate for the first time ever! The rift between worldviews is ever widening, and more people are becoming directly involved as they recognize our government’s direction and force.
It is California Family Council’s plan to play a larger role in November’s election by providing you with quality, well-researched voter guides and to distribute them via our established network. In days like these, it is “all hands on deck.”
And right now, I must inform you that California Family Council needs your immediate help. Perhaps the political campaigns have taken many people’s attention and resources; whatever the cause, CFC is falling short of its financial needs. Like you in the management of your home or business, CFC has been especially careful, and has reduced spending and personnel.
You may remember my e-mail notices regarding the offer of a $25,000 matching gift from a Midwest family. I am pleased to tell you that nearly 50% of that match has been met. Will you please help – today – to meet the remainder of the match? Your charitable gift right now will be matched, dollar for dollar.
The CFC team is small but strong, and we are excited for all of the opportunities through the summer and leading up to the November general election. In fact, just this past Saturday morning I had the wonderful opportunity to lead another 106 people through the Truth Project small group training. These are exciting times!
